WHO WE ARE Creopia start-up co-founder and creative director Sashka is a diasporan Armenian, who after living in Russia and studying Philosophy at the University of McGill in Canada decided to permanently settle in Vanadzor Armenia working as a filmmaker. Creopia co-founder and social impact manager Lusine is a Vanadzor native with a Masters in Peace Studies from the University of Rome and has been actively working in the region as a peace-builder for the last 7 years. We have known each other for almost two years and been pouring our energies into Creopia for the last 4 months. OUR VISION We see Vanadzor as an arts hub facilitating creative exploration for youth to generate social impact in their community. OUR MISSION Apply film and other art mediums to shed light on social issues in Vanadzor and surrounding regions in Armenia. THE TARGET MARKET clients from US, Canada, UK, etc., as well as clients found on freelance platforms such as upwork The business side of the company will provide video editing and photo/film making services to clients THE TARGET GROUP AS TO ITS SOCIAL IMPACT Vanadzor, Armenia and surrounding areas wherever the social issues raised by Creopia productions would be relevant The money made from this video editing studio will in turn be fueled into the educational side of Creopia providing workshops, events, and classes, each of which will build upon the video skills of young community members.
