About me
A graduate of State Engineering University of Armenia, I got my bachelor’s and master's degrees in the years of 1999 and 2001 respectively. I received my PhD in Moscow from VNIIAES (All Russian Research Institute for NPP Operation) in 2005.
Within the scope of the project on Radioactive Waste and Spent Nuclear Fuel Management Strategy Development for the Republic of Armenia, financed by EC, I reviewed the reports submitted by ITER Consult Consortium, supervised the tasks implemented by the Armenian delegation and coordinated the activities of our working group. During the two-year term of the project (2013-2015) we developed the RW and SNF management strategy for the RA. During the project, over 20 technical meetings and 2 workshops were organized under my chairmanship with the involvement of mass media and NGO representatives.I was also the contact person and lead specialist of the Armenian Delegation for the 5th Review Meeting of the National Report under the Joint Convention.
